A: Dana Murphy老師說: Yes, A sounds like a supervisor to B. It also sounds like B may be new to
the job and is learning.
|
|
2. |
A: 因為 A說: Okay, Bob. That's the right idea.
Yes, it sounds like A has been teaching B how to enter the data into this particular program. He is doing fine, except for this error.
|
|
3. |
Q: A 說 "You're putting the figures in the wrong order." 他可以說 , "You're putting the numbers in the wrong order?"
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: Yes, but figures is more professional.
|
|
4. |
Q: B 說 "I didn't realize ...." 如果 B說, 'I don't realize...." 這又是甚麼意思呢? 會不會顯得沒禮貌? 請上討論區發表你的看法.
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: It's not rude, it's just incorrect. "I don't understand" make sense (可以說 I don't understand.), but "I don't realize" doesn't.(不用 "I don't realize"因為, To realize something is to become aware or you either say "I realize that?" Or "I didn't realize." "didn't realize" is always past tense.

I didn't realize those had to be in order.'
原來B是用 'I didn't realize these had to be in order.' 用 these 和 those 有何差別?
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: 用these,表示他們正在看報表或畫面, 用了 "those" 表示they have already done it, already input the information. "Oh, THOSE figures that we did a few minutes, ago, I didn't realize THOSE had to be in order!"
|
|
6. |
Q:
A 說, "Yes, the computer can't read the figures..." , 為何說 'Yes' ?
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: YES refers to "YES THEY DO HAVE TO BE IN ORDER."在此不說 'No' ( "No" does not work here.)
|
|
7. |
Q:
"The computer can't read the figures the way that you're putting them in." 換句話說 "putting the figures in" 是甚麼意思 ?
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: "The computer can't read the numbers the way you are inputting them."
|
|
8. |
Q:
B 說 "Well, how should I be entering them?" ,他可以說 "Well, how should I enter them?"
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: Yes, that would be fine. It means the same thing.
|
|
9. |
Q:
"Well, how should I be entering them?"
A: Dana Murphy
"Well, how should I input them?"
"Well, how should I put them in?"
"Is there a particular way I need to input them? Show me."
"I don't understand. How else could I input the figures?"
"Okay, so this is not correct. Please tell me how I need to input the numbers so the computer understands them."
|
|
10. |
Q:
A: Dana Murphy 老師說: Certainly not formal at all. 用了 'right idea' 'putting them in' 'wrong'
